Mechanized Systems:
The Mechanized systems take advantage of the power
generated by an engine to move the surface of the conveyor. The surface could be
either a belt or a live roller. These systems allow to automate handling as well
as to make more efficient and faster the movement of the loads. They allow to
establish a work rhythm in the different process stations allocated along the
conveyor. They are justified when the production and/or handling of materials is
intense and a greater efficiency is trying to be reached.
Belt Conveyors:
The belt conveyors are mechanized systems for load handling. In its
simplest form, it consists on a belt over engine powered rollers. The belt is
manufactured with different materials and dimensions according to its use. The
belt can be used directly or indirectly for load handling.

| The belt conveyors can be horizontal,
inclined, or a combination between both options. |
A description of some general systems, depending on the surface that
gives support, and the specific function to be realized by the belt can be
